At The Taj, your mehndi, nikah, and walima unfold in one grand marble ballroom — no shuttling families across town, simply one seamless celebration from start to finish.

For the wedding party, our private bridal and groom suites are sanctuaries of calm. Floor-to-ceiling mirrors, soft seating, fresh florals, and dedicated entrances let you and your loved ones prepare and breathe in privacy — with our coordinator just a knock away, anticipating every need before you ask.

We are proudly built for the grand weddings of the GTA's Pakistani and Indian communities — baraat entrances, a stage and mandap fit for the day, fully Halal feasts, and every beautiful tradition in between. Our chefs, decorators, and event team speak the language of Desi weddings fluently, honouring your customs while elevating every flourish.

Two serene, mirrored retreats for the bride, groom, and wedding party to prepare, relax, and gather before the celebration — each with its own entrance, comfortable seating, and fresh florals.

Dedicated Wedding Coordinator

One devoted point of contact from your first tour to the final farewell — building timelines, managing vendors, and orchestrating the day so you stay fully present in every moment.

Grand Stage & Mandap

A breathtaking stage and mandap dressed to your palette — towering floral arrangements, draped backdrops, gold filigree, and ambient uplighting that makes the head table the centre of the room.

In-House Halal Catering

Lavish menus crafted in-house across Pakistani, Indian, Hyderabadi, and Mughlai cuisines — fully Halal, with plated dinners, grand buffets, and live tandoor and chaat stations.

Can we hold our mehndi, nikah, and walima here?
Yes — one of the things families love most. Host every function in our grand marble ballroom, with a seamless turnaround handled entirely by our team between each celebration. No shuttling guests across town.
Is your food Halal, or can we bring our own caterer?
Both. Our entire in-house kitchen is fully Halal across Pakistani, Indian, Hyderabadi, and Mughlai cuisines — and we warmly welcome your trusted outside Halal caterer when your celebration calls for it.
Can you accommodate a grand baraat entrance?
Absolutely — it's exactly what we're built for. Our soaring lobby and dramatic processional entrance are made for grand baraats with dhol, along with mandap and stage setups, nikah and prayer space, and every Desi tradition with genuine experience and care.
Are there bridal and groom suites?
Yes — two private, mirror-lined suites with their own entrances, so the bride, groom, and their families can prepare, retouch, and relax in comfort and privacy before the celebration.
How many guests can you seat for a wedding?
Up to 600 in the Grand Marble Ballroom, 350 in the Taj Hall, and 150 in the intimate Crystal Room — ideal for everything from a close mehndi to a grand walima reception.
What deposit holds our date, and how does payment work?
A booking deposit secures your date, with the balance spread across comfortable instalments before the wedding. Your coordinator will walk you through a clear, transparent payment schedule built around your package.
Can we bring our own decorator and outside décor?
Yes. Our design team can style the stage and every surface to your vision, but we operate an open-vendor policy and gladly welcome your own decorator, florist, and rentals — we'll coordinate setup times to keep the day seamless.
When does The Taj open, and what dates are available?
We're a brand-new venue opening in 2026, now booking for our Grand Opening season into 2027. Prime weekends are filling quickly — share your preferred season and we'll send live availability, and hold a tentative date while you decide.
